According to the statistics of the Home Textile Branch of the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, in the first 11 months of 2023, China's home textile exports stabilized and rebounded, with a cumulative export value of 30.09 billion US dollars, an increase of 17.3% compared to the same period in 2019.
Currently, more and more home textile enterprises are accelerating their overseas market layout, and with excellent product quality and tailored design concepts, they have established a reputation and trust in the international market, effectively enhancing the global influence of their brands.
Steady pace of going abroad
According to statistics from the Home Textile Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles, in the first 11 months of 2023, the export of major categories of home textile products in China showed a positive growth or a slight decrease. Among them, the export value of carpets was 3.66 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%; The export value of toiletries and kitchen textiles was 2.67 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%; The export value of tablecloths was 730 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; The export value of blankets was 4.08 billion US dollars, a slight decrease of 0.3% year-on-year; The export value of bedding products was 12.72 billion US dollars, a slight decrease of 1.5% year-on-year; The export value of curtains was 2.59 billion US dollars, a slight decrease of 1.6% year-on-year.
During the same period, the export value of China's home textile products to the US market was 9.51 billion US dollars, which remained unchanged year-on-year and narrowed by 1.5 percentage points compared to the previous month. Since August 2023, China's exports of home textile products to the United States have achieved positive growth for four consecutive months, with growth rates exceeding 15%. In addition, the export volume to the countries jointly constructing the "the Belt and Road" was 8.22 billion US dollars, up 5.8% year on year. Among them, the export value to the five Central Asian countries was 790 million US dollars, maintaining a high-speed growth of 51.2%; The export value to Africa was 1.29 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%; The export value to Latin America was 1.61 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%.
